Our client, Mighty Auto, HRM’s largest independent auto group, requires a SHOP MANAGER for one of its busy metro locations.
The Shop Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the shop including staffing, inventory control and, above all, customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar environment, possess excellent customer service skills, and have a drive to deliver results.

Truck Driver, Forestry Company
Our client, a growing and diversified forestry sector business located near Halifax, Nova Scotia, requires the services of an experienced Truck Driver to join its team on a full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for hauling logs, studwood, firewood, chips, other wood products and floating equipment to and from forest sites, as well as operating a forwarder and other forestry equipment when required. In addition, the person will be responsible for pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
o A Class 1 license with extensive trucking experience, ideally in the forestry industry.
o An excellent driving record with knowledge of relevant safety practices and procedures.
o The ability to operate a forwarder and other forestry equipment.
o Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform routine maintenance on the truck and equipment.
o Organized, with an ability to coordinate their own work schedule.
o Demonstrated reliability and solid work history.
